Many of us have
mercury in our system, having been exposed to it in the form of
mercury fillings, pollution from industry, automobile switches and
parts, vaccines (polio, prior to 1999), and even contact lens solution,
for example. Most of us will not react to this exposure, yet for
some of us, our systems may react badly, leading to ill health.
Chelation is
a method by which people can remove mercury that has accumulated
in the body. When mercury is in our body, it gets deposited in the
brain and various organs, with a tendency to stay there.
The first step
in cleansing your body of mercury is to remove all mercury fillings.
Our dentists take the utmost care during this process, as well as
guarding against any exposure to the mercury dust and vapors of
the drilling process. It is important to remove all mercury fillings
before chelation. Read more about mercury
fillings.
You may also
choose to be tested for mercury levels in your body before and after
chelation. This can help you to decide whether you wish to remove
your fillings and proceed with chelation.
